Key Account Manager (AI Business Transformation)

We are hiring a proactive, result-oriented Key Account Manager who has a good business insight and judgement and is passionate about the innovative applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. As a Key Account Manager in our team, your focus will be on growing Area99 business through acquiring new clients as well as growing existing account through additional services and solutions.

What you will be doing everyday at this job:
  • Management of customer relationships to as well as nurturing and expanding existing accounts
  • Management of the internal cooperation with the consulting and engineering team in the pre-sales phase
  • Assess clients needs, pitch Area99 products and services and provide clear and accurate proposals to clients in line with their requirements
  • Build and manage a sales funnel, develop sales strategies and manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract conclusion
  • Perform product demonstrations to bring customers, prospects, and partners together, and represent Area99 in conferences, roadshows and events
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, and maintain knowledge of product lines and good understanding of the Artificial intelligence products, services, and business landscape through market research
What we're looking for:
  • A university degree in business, marketing, communications or a similar major.
  • Demonstrable experience in B2B solution sales and a track record of managing business transformation accounts
  • A previous experience working in a similar environment e.g. IT Business Consultancy/ SAAS or Software outsourcing
  • Excellent client facing experience and a track record of developing and expanding existing accounts
  • Exposure to Big Data and Artificial intelligence is preferred, and experience working within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Analytical mindset, why pays close attention to details and has a natural business sense
  • Has a positive attitude and the ability to manage their own time and organise their workload
  • Experience with large projects in the European market is desirable
  • A fluent German speaker with excellent communication and presentation skills
